When your hair gets drenched in the rain, wash it with a mild shampoo followed by conditioner. If possible try to switch to DIY shampoo using natural ingredients. Get rid of the shampoo and conditioner that contain harsh chemicals, because haircare products loaded with chemicals will strip the natural oil from your hair making it brittle and dry.

Opt for a hot oil treatment

Do not ignore the fact that your hair needs a lot of moisture in this weather. Though your hair might be greasy, you need to moisturize and nourish your hair and scalp. Try hot oil treatment at regular intervals to keep your hair healthy. Use coconut oil or olive oil with some essential oils to massage your scalp. Leave the oil overnight so that it gets completely absorbed by the scalp and then wash it the next day with a mild shampoo. Your hair will become smooth and silky.

Towel dry your hair
